The XGP is the true successor to the GP32. Much like that console, the XGP will be sort of a jack of all trades--with multimedia functions, commercial games, homebrew/emulators, and anything else the community can think up.
The XGP is the most technically impressive of all of the GP/GPH console, and Gamepark plans to revise the specs and make it even more powerful. Outside of niceties like Wifi, DMB, and possibly GPS, the XGP's largest draw will probably be its 2D/3D accelerator. While the GP2X's 2D accelerator is somewhat weak, the XGP's will go much further. It could potentially make thinks like PSX and N64 emulation much more plausible. And its advantage to commercial games and homebrew is pretty obvious. ;-)
I expect a lot of changed to take place in this section between now and the XGP's release (unfortunately Gamepark still hasn't provided a solid date..). I'll try my best to keep this section as informative and error-free as possible.
